What Aletheia is

Project Aletheia is an independent research lab built for the hard questions about reality that supposedly can’t be answered. What consciousness is. Whether anything is hidden in the numbers nature hands us. The famous mysteries everyone argues about and nobody tests. The lab’s job is to take those questions seriously enough to make them testable, and honest enough to publish whatever comes back.

I’m interested in the hard questions about reality that can’t be answered. This lab is what taking them seriously looks like.

The receipts

Two of the most serious data institutions on Earth have corrected their public records after this lab’s reports. NASA/JPL confirmed and fixed eight internally inconsistent records in its close-approach database. Google DeepMind confirmed and merged a fix to its Formal Conjectures mathematics library. Every finding this lab publishes carries its evidence, its limits, and the exact test that could kill it.

How the lab works

Every question runs through the same machine. First, honest limits: what can this data even prove? Then the rules get locked before any data is read, so nobody can move the goalposts. Verdicts come from deterministic code with no AI in the scoring path. Every detector must catch planted fake answers before it touches real data. And every run ends honestly: supported, null, or held open. No result is above being killed, and the kills get published too.

Cold cases

When a question dies interesting, it doesn’t get buried. It becomes a cold case: what we found, how it died, and exactly what would settle it, posted publicly as an open ask. One reply with the right file can reopen a case. See the open cases at /cold-cases.

A discovery label here has to be earned: it needs a dated novelty review showing the result is genuinely new, on top of every other gate.
